Initial Audio has announced an update to the Sektor hybrid wavetable synthesizer instrument for Windows and Mac.
Sektor is a polyphonic wavetable synth plugin with a highly intuitive user interface and a lot of customization features. Sektor was built to use a low amount of system resources while having a massive high quality sound.
Advanced modulation features such as feature rich modulation Envelopes, ADSR´s and LFO´s can be routed to the synths parameters via drag and drop, or via the right click menu of the knobs. The Expression page gives you even more access to features such as velocity, aftertouch and much more.
Changes in Sektor v1.6.3
- Added 3 new filters, SV Lowpass, SV Bandpass and SV highpass.
- On the wavetable edit page users can now select a new wavetable to load. Previously had to go back to the main page and select in the oscillator.
- GUI improvements.
- Fixed an issue where clicking a preset would keep the keyboard focus and prevent notes being played from the users type keyboard.
- Fixed an issue with the pitch wheel range.
- Updated GUI rendering on Mac to use Metal instead of OpenGL.
- Made OpenGL rendering optional in the settings page on Windows.
- Fixed an issue where the master Envelope would not update correctly when changed from the host.
Available in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and Mac, Sektor is on sale for $39 USD for a limited time (regular $139 USD).
