iZotope has released an update to its recent multiband distortion effect Trash, bringing oversampling and a resizable interface to the plugin that comes with over 600 distortion types and impulse responses.

We heard your feedback, and we jumped back into the code. We want your distortion playground equipped with the basics that keep you in the zone. And what better way to do that than by adding two much-requested enhancements?

Changes in Trash

  • Oversampling: Distortion and audio origami go hand in hand. Aliasing destroying your tracks in the wrong way? Switch 4x oversampling on for the Trash module and mangle your sound more cleanly.
  • Resizable interface: You can now transform your tracks with Trash at any size, creating chaos with added flexibility.

Trash is on sale for $79 USD instead of $99 USD at Plugin Boutique, Native Instruments, and the iZotope store until April 30th, 2024.

Owners of a previous version of Trash, Music Production Suite, and Everything Bundle can upgrade for $29 USD, while owners of other selected products can crossgrade for $49 USD.
