Following the recent Kawai BS-30 felt piano, Jon Meyer has announced a new free Kontakt instrument library with the sounds of a sampled Steinway grand piano.
I sampled the Steinway at Mediatech Institute in Dallas, TX using a blend of Coles 4038’s and my U47 clones. It’s warm and rich and responds best to a medium or light touch.
