Kia has released a free software synthesizer for Windows and Mac in collaboration with AudioFB.
The first musical instrument scientifically designed to inspire you, the Kia Instrument uses sounds of movement from nature recorded from various places in the world.
The sounds of movement in nature produce what’s known as pink noise. This increases the alpha waves in the brain, inducing the flow state of consciousness, the state in which the brain is at its most creative. These natural sounds were recorded all over the world and used to develop a one-of-a-kind instrument.
The plugin features 8 nature filters (thunder, geiser, forest, birds, wind, water, beach and night), 4 classic synth waveforms, a mixer for the sampler, VCO, noise and reverb, a lowpass filter with ADSR and modulation, ADSR envelope, and output tone and volume controls.
Available for Windows and Mac in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats, Kia Instrument is free to download at the Kia website.
