Kong Audio has announced the release of an update to its virtual instruments. The upgraded core engine technology of Qin Engine Version 3 comes with support for macOS Intel/Apple Silicon and Windows 64-bit systems.
The new version offers a simplified design with a range of features and improvements. All soundbank samples have been re-engineered as well.
The update is free to owners of any product with previous Qin Engine versions. The following products have been updated:
- Chinese Orchestra Full Edition.
- Chinese Orchestra Standard Edition.
- Chinese Orchestra Individuals (BanHu, BaWu, ErHu, ErHu_II, GaoHu, GuanZi, GuQin, GuZheng_II, HuLuSi, JingHu, Kong, LiuQin, MaTouQin, NanXiao, PiPa, Ruan, SanXian, Sheng, SuoNa, Winds, Xun, YangQin, ZhongHu).
- Instant China.
- Essential China.
- Ancient Chinese BianZhong (Chime) & BianQing (Stone).
- Kirk Symphony.
Qin Engine V3 instruments are available in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats, and as standalone applications for Windows and Mac.
