KORG has announced the availability of its new analog modeling synthesizer inspired by the Mono/Poly paraphonic analog synth released in 1981.
The multi/poly native synthesizer features redesigned, incredible-sounding filters and oscillators, and its advances in analog modeling go so much deeper.
Inspired by the legendary KORG Mono/Poly, the new KORG multi/poly analog modeling synthesizer delivers breathtaking analog sounds combined with extraordinary digital power and flexibility. It’s already garnering acclaim as one of the best synths of the year.
Now, Korg is pleased to announce multi/poly native, the fully-compatible software counterpart to the hardware multi/poly synthesizer.
KORG multi/poly native features
- Analog Modeling: multi/poly native utilizes Korg’s advanced analog modeling technology to faithfully recreate the sonic character of the hardware, including its unique filter and oscillator designs.
- Extensive Modulation: Explore a vast modulation matrix with Kaoss Physics, Motion Sequencing 2.0, and a multitude of sources and destinations, allowing for dynamic and expressive sound design.
- Diverse Oscillators and Filters: Four oscillators per program (Classic, Digital, Waveshaper) and dual filter slots offer a wide range of timbral possibilities, from vintage warmth to cutting-edge digital textures.
- Layered Sounds: Combine up to four programs in a performance for complex layered sounds, splits, and dynamic layering with Layer Rotate.
- High-Quality Effects: Polish your sounds with a comprehensive suite of effects, including reverbs, delays, modulation effects, and amp simulators.
- Seamless Hardware Integration: Transfer sounds effortlessly between the multi/poly hardware and multi/poly native, maintaining consistency across your studio and live setups.
The multi/poly native for Windows and Mac (VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale for the intro price of $149 USD at Plugin Boutique and from the KORG store until March 31st, 2025 (regular $199 USD).
