KV331 Audio has updated the beta version of its upcoming SynthMaster 3 software synthesizer instrument.
Revision 15420 makes it possible to restore expansion packs for previous SynthMaster versions inside SynthMaster 3.
Changes in SynthMaster Rev. 15420
- New: Added preset preview properties.
- New: SynthMaster 3 now restores expansions for SynthMaster One and SynthMaster 2.
- New: Granular oscillator can now load single samples as well.
- Fix: Panic button is not working correctly.
- Fix: SynthMaster 3 might crash when opening a DAW project that has a SM3 preset that’s missing Layer 1 (first layer is Layer 2 or higher).
- Fix: SynthMaster 3 might crash when switching between presets.
- Fix: SynthMaster 3 might crash when init preset is called after a preset is loaded.
- Fix: Built-in keybaord doesn’t work for the standalone version of SynthMaster 3 (Windows).
SynthMaster 3 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is available to purchase for $89 USD while in beta (regular $179 USD). A purchase also includes 3 free expansions, and a license for SynthMaster 2. Existing SynthMaster 2 owners can upgrade for $29 USD during the promotion.
