Leslie Sanford has released version 2.6 of Sanford Delay, a freeware stereo delay effect for Windows PC.
It features a filter in the feedback path that lets you dampen the feedback over time, giving the delay a natural sound. It also allows you to pan the feedback across the stereo spectrum creating the classic “ping-pong” effect. Overall, its main quality is simplicity. If you need a straightforward delay that doesn’t overwhelm you with bells and whistles, this is the one for you.
Changes in Sanford Delay v2.6
- MIDI Learn data is now saved with the bank data.
- When you click on the title, “Sanford Delay,” a popup menu appears that lets you make choices such as displaying the About Box, cancelling MIDI Learn (if it’s in progress), and clearing all MIDI Learn data from the bank.
- Corrected problem with headers which weren’t saved to the Bank/Program files in v2.1. Note: files saved with v2.1 won’t work with v2.6.
Sanford Delay is available as a freeware VST effect plug-in for Windows PC.
