Wrongtools has introduced an upcoming Kontakt instrument library that is the result of 4 professional percussionists from Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, performing with an utmost precision on a variety of orchestral tonal-percussion instruments.

Recorded in one of Norways best sounding hall, Fartein Valen, Longitudinal: Orchestral Tuned Percussion Ensemble Textures features a wide range of orchestral tuned percussion instruments, each contributing to a vibrant rainbow of sound-rivers and timbres.

Composers and music producers can experience the enchanting journey of evolving notes gracefully shifting and intertwining, painting an aural canvas of cinematic percussion textural ensemble timbres.

One of the most distinctive aspects of Longitudinal is its emphasis on slow and gradual changes between timbres. Allowing the sounds to weave intricate structures that move with the ebb and flow of the music. The library showcases a diverse array of organic vivid textures, providing film composers with an unusual palette of enchanting movements.

John Erik Kaada, founder of Wrongtools, expressed his enthusiasm about the release, stating, “We are super proud to unveil Longitudinal, a project that has been a labor of love for all of us. We can’t wait to see how composers and producers incorporate these unusual and lively textures in their music.”

With Longitudinal, Wrongtools continues its tradition of excellence in creating cutting-edge virtual instruments that inspire and elevate music production. Experience the beauty of harmonious tuned percussion instruments and the magic of evolving textures by exploring the sonic wonders of
Longitudinal.

Available to pre-order for 99 EUR until August 10th, 2023 (regular 189 EUR), the library requires the full version of Kontakt 6.4.2 or higher.
