Taking cues from popular artists of the genre, from revolutionary beatmakers such as MF Doom and J Dilla to next-generation stars including Twit One and Nathan Kanawishi, you’ll find hundreds of original samples blending jazz, hip hop, downtempo and chill into a perfect mix that are ideal for making laid-back beats.
This unique set of handcrafted samples includes many recorded via crackly old cassette players and microphones that were resampled and processed with real hardware and software emulation to bring out just the right amount of mellow grit, smooth instability and soft character needed for that homemade, Lo-Fi aesthetic.
