Mad Villains is an artist from San Bernardino, California currently residing in Leeds, UK. Having crafted his own unique ‘ghetto’ sound over the last 5 years, he has managed to gain support from high profile artists such as Todd Terry, Seth Troxler, Roger Sanchez, Kenny Dope, Sidney Charles, Huxley, Shadow Child, Santé, Skream, Monki and many more as well as monthly radio support from Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM. With a rapidly growing fan base, he has been noted simply as “one to watch”.
Mad Villains’ ghetto house sound is generally characterised by chunky/saturated drums, shuffley hi hats/percussion, vibey chords and melodies, tough sub basslines, obscure FX with hints of UKG flavours, so you can expect to find all the keys to his elusive sound palette within this collection of loops, one-shots, midi, sampler patches and rex2 files.
