Drawing inspiration from her life experiences, Katryna Abel writes with sincerity, singing about love, loss, and friendship with a blend of positivity and honest introspection. Her powerful, classic soul voice carries traces of R&B and jazz, influenced by icons like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Adele, with a unique vintage twist. Deeply rooted in jazz, Kat is also inspired by greats like Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
Over the past five years, Kat has honed her craft by gigging across genres as both a singer and session musician, developing her distinctive style of scatting and improvisation rooted in her jazz-based background.
