Phonk is a subgenre that blends elements of hip-hop and trap, drawing direct inspiration from the 1990s Memphis rap scene. It’s marked by vocals sourced from vintage Memphis rap recordings and samples taken from early 1990s hip-hop tracks, notably incorporating cowbell samples reminiscent of the Roland TR-808 drum machine.
Phonk Demons features loops ranging from 120 to 175 BPM, specifically tailored to complement your trap endeavors. Within this expansive collection, you’ll discover a wide selection of elements including synth basslines, dynamic drums, commanding lead synthesizers, atmospheric pads, haunting pianos, and evocative vocals. Catering perfectly to the genre’s demands, the vocals are provided in both chopped form and full-length male rap verses.
