Luftrum has announced the launch of the 2018 Call to Arms charity fundraiser.
As with previous years, you can bid on music production hardware and software donated by a large amount of developers from the audio industry, and help raise money for people in need.
In the past seven years, more than $164,000 USD was raised for Save the Children. Last year alone, the auction raised $37,731 USD, breaking all former years.
Can’t believe a year went by already? It’s the time of year and I have just launched the annual fundraiser running on its 8th year now, where companies donate plugins, DAWs, synths and studio software on auction and you place a bid on the goodies and grab a bargain – and it’s all for a good cause!
This year I have added Plastic Oceans to the list and together with Save The Children Denmark Red Barnet they will receive the funds we raise… head over to the forum of KVR Audio where all the action happens.
Already on board with some great products are Mutable Instruments, LennarDigital, KV331 Audio, Image-Line, Akai Pro, AIR Music Tech, Sonivox, Native Instruments, u-he, Vengeance Sound, 2CAudio, FabFilter, D16 Group, XLN Audio, DS Audio, Bitwig, and many more.
Rekkerd has also pitched in with a banner advertisement campaign so if you would like to promote your music or products make sure to put in a bid.
In the next few days more developers will join the Call to Arms, so check the auction thread at KVR Audio regularly.
