Madbee Audio has released Q-meleon, a free equalizer effect plug-in for Windows.
This plug-in allows you to design your own equalizer by acting on parameters that change the curves behavior.
Q-meleon features
- Double precision filters
- Automatic band width correction at nyquist frequency when working below 48 KHz.
- Two GUI modes: really simple or highly editable
- Integrated help window.
- Some presets based on classic gear.
- Two saturation modes: Soft clip (only odd harmonics) and Tube (even and odd harmonics).
The plug-in is freeware for Windows (VST), as part of the KVR Developer Challenge 2014.
