Felix Petrescu (waka x) of Makunouchi Bento has released two new VST effects, Flippertonic and Flippertonic3 v0.9 beta.
Both are freeware VST effect plug-ins made with SynthEdit and behave like a broken sampler, playing random samples from an earlier stream, using random timing.
Features
- 3 silders to control:
- density of the replayed buffer (default val is 1)
- volume of the fx-ed output
- volume of the input
Feed the plug-in audio for a few minutes and then listen what Flippertonic generates from that. The result can be recorded with a virtual tape device like Silverspike TapeIt 2 or the free VST audio recorders by EFM.
Flippertonic 3 is the same as Flippertonic, but features 3 buffers instead of 1.
