Sonic Zest has announced the release of its new sample library Marimba Waves.
Similar to the Electric Monsoon and more recent Harp Storm instruments, this new Kontakt instrument features the sounds of octave tremolos.
What we have here is the sound of a Yamaha YM 6000 marimba and a Musser Pro M55 vibraphone playing octave tremolos across their full range.
What you get when you spread this across a keyboard and start playing chords is a rainstorm of tiny orchestral details that weave in and out beautifully.
Marimba Waves features
- A deeply sampled Yamaha YM 6000 marimba and a Musser Pro M55 vibraphone playing octave tremolos.
- 6x round robins (3x true round robins + 3x borrowed round robins).
- 0.6GB download. 0.7GB when extracted.
- Requires full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or above to run.
The library is on sale for $20 USD until November 22nd, 2020 (regular $40 USD).
