Organic Instruments has announced the release of its new Elemental Player-powered sound library Melbourne, which delivers a combination of tactile concrete, verdant foliage and inquisitive fauna.

Doctored downtown samples, derived from a celebrated Australian city. Industrial edges are softened by allusions to local wildlife, hinting at a dynamic space brimming with zest & verve. Every note reveals pure acoustic recordings, individually re-tuned to the frequency of each key. Discover subtle nods to Melbourne’s rich culture within this assemblage of city murmurings.

Melbourne was composed across a septet of unexpected locations; discover the sonic canvas of the world’s largest tram network, and the calls of earth’s smallest penguin species.

Melbourne is available to purchase for the intro price of $49 USD instead of $85 USD until April 24th, 2024.

Additionally, the Elemental Studio virtual instrument maker was recently updated with the option to directly export virtual instruments as independent VST3, AU and AAX plugins, with all Organic Instruments branding removed, without any coding, and at no extra charge.
