Loopmasters has released a new sample pack from RV Samplepacks that brings an ode to the timeless and exotic vibe of Miami in the 1980s.
Miami Synth Rock contains a dramatic and cinematic collection of vintage synth sounds from a vivid era.
Heavily inspired by the classic TV show Miami Vice, as well as movie classics such as Scarface, Manhunter and the sound and vision of John Carpenter, this pack is analogue heaven for digital producers.
Taking its sounds from classic hardware such as the DX7, SQ80, ESQ1 and the Fairlight family of synths, the beats are sequenced in an atmospheric style reminiscent of influential composers such as Jan Hammer, who made electronic innovation in both film and television, as well as on the dancefloor. Recorded delicately and in the highest quality, Miami Synthrock’s extensive samples capture the analogue warmth of this innovative sound.
Spanning 75 and 90 BPM, the Miami Synthrock sounds feature all the ingredients for dreamy and sometimes sleazy compositions. Overflowing with propulsive basslines, glossy keys and sensual percussion, this 1GB collection is ideal for funk, disco, cinematic and future pop styles, generating sublime sounds for chunky nocturnal electro or breezy, beachside hits.
Priced £29.95 GBP, the pack includes nearly 600MB of loops and one-shots. Parts are also sold separately starting from £4.95 GBP.
