ML Sound Lab has released an update to the Amped Roots guitar amplifier emulation, a collaboration with Ryan “Fluff” Bruce.

Version 2.0 features ML Sound Lab’s new amp sim engine, 3D cabinet section, revamped pedalboard, tuner, scalable GUI, and more.

The plugin includes 4 amps, one of which is free.

Amped Roots Free comes with one amp: “5034 Fluff” however to get three more amps: “5151 Fluff”, “Freeman Fluff” and “Mega Fluff” you need to purchase Amped Roots Full License.

The 3D cab sim comes with Mega Oversize, Freeman V30 and Freeman M25 speakers, with 4 mics that you can position anywhere in front or behind the speaker, and even angle. It allows loading of impulse responses, and the full license includes Fluff’s personal guitar cabinet as a loadable ML IR.

Available in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats and as standalone software for Windows and Mac, Amped Roots 2.0 is free to download. The full license is 59.99 EUR.
