Mod Sound has announced the release of its Velvetverb algorithmic reverb plugin for Windows and Mac.
Velvetverb features 4 unique, flexible reverb modes (Velvet Room, Hall Effect, Plate Glass, and Dark Energy), capable of producing far-reaching control sweeps, from natural room sounds, to swirling soundscapes, to warbling resonances, to otherworldly washes.
The effect offers a larger-than-life stereo field impression, with superwide responses to all input signals, and smooth, lively detuning and chorusing. Housed in a simple, powerful interface with GPU-accelerated stereo field visualizer, the plugin delivers fine-grained control of reverb frequency response. It includes presets to get you started.
Available in VST3 and AU formats, the plugin costs $60 USD. A free trial version is available to download.
