MoMinstruments has announced the release of an update to its Elastic Melody synthesizer and sequencer app for iOS. Version 1.1 now let the app to send and receive MIDI, allowing users to use the intuitive and quick analog style step sequencer with other iOS apps or with external hardware gear.
Elastic Melody is a standalone iOS application and AUv3 plugin with 3 channels of synthetic sounds, an analog style step sequencer and 4 master effects. Almost all parameters can be automated and thus changed in an „elastic way“. The focus of Elastic Melody is on a fast and intuitive creation of melodies with a basic analog sound.

- MIDI Input: Select your MIDI Input source and the track that should receive MIDI Notes.
- MIDI Output: Select where track Notes should get routed to.
- MIDI Bluetooth: Search for MIDI Bluetooth connections.
- New: Copy function to copy Sound, Notes or Automation data to another track.
- New: Shift Notes up and down.
- Presets by DJ Puzzle.
- Several small bugfixes and improvements.
Elastic Melody is available at the App Store for $9.99 USD. The update is free to owners of the app.
