Loopmasters has introduced a new sample pack from the Blind Audio label. Designed to add character and texture to your beats, Object Obscura – Organic Rhythms delivers a selection of nearly 950 foley percussion loops and one shots, alongside 72 instrument loops.
Percussion can be found all around you! From the clacking of your mechanical keyboard to the dripping of water in your kitchen sink, these sounds can be repurposed and layered into your beats to create interesting organic textures within your music.
With Obscura, we were influenced to do just this; to create useful rhythms out of the mundane – we took a look around the studio, office, and home, sampling everything we could get our hands on. Then we processed and warped the sounds with filters, distortion & pitch shifters, chopped them up, dropped them into a sampler, and started creating percussion loops.
