Organic Loops has introduced a new sample collection created by Storme Watson and Patrick Carpenter. The Earth Songs library lets you add a global touch to your music, with sounds inspired by Africa, Asia, India, and the Middle East.
Storme Watson is a multi-instrumentalist and founder of Earthsong Music, a company that has been providing multicultural music workshops to schools and the wider community for the past 30 years. Storme has a fascination for sound and the subtle power of music.
Patrick Carpenter – PC, the Original Ninja, cut his teeth as a pivotal member of Ninja Tune Records, defining a huge era in 90’s music with his unique techniques in production and club DJing. As part of the DJ Food project, his output included 5 albums, 7 singles, and 12 artist remixes including work for David Byrne, and Elvis Costello. Patrick was also an original member of The Cinematic Orchestra, bringing the sound of his studio to the live stage via turntables and electronics. Today, drawing on his 30 years as a musician, Patrick plays saxophone, flute, and percussion for improvised dance classes and continues to produce electronic music.
