Patchbanks has announced the release of Zodiac, an original drumless sample collection containing a select playlist of musical performances produced and recorded with vintage instruments for creating underground hip hop beats and other sample-based genres.
Inspired by European rock records circa 1970s: Inside contains a select playlist of 13 mixed stereo compositions in the genres of prog/psyche rock, jazz rock, soundtrack and other niche styles sampled in underground style beats.
This collection features live instruments and FX such as: Yamaha C3 Piano, rhodes, Fender Custom Shop strat and G&L guitar, Taylor acoustic, electric bass, Moog, Arp Solina, Prophet, Moog LPF, Boss Octave, ACME DI, Fender Silverface and other distinct classic amps.
All masters have been recorded, mixed and processed with the finest outboard gear available, featuring brands such as Neve 1073, API, SSL Dynamics, UA1176, vintage spring reverbs and tape delays. To top it off, every mix was processed through analog mastering for a touch of tape noise and saturation.
