Bunker Samples has announced the release of a new percussion library for Native Instruments Kontakt, made from the sounds of a WWII bunker.

A collection of 83 original and designed sounds, Bunker PERC – Underground Sounds is housed in Bunker Samples’ new percussion engine which lets the user shape and manipulate each sound in the library individually, from subtle finessing to extreme warping.

Sadly the bunker is no longer available, but we managed to capture the sonic DNA of it before leaving; the sound of big metal blast doors being slammed and struck, locks clicking and heavy iron latches falling into place – these percussive sounds are loud, yet richly textured.

The library contains all 21 original sounds captured in the bunker, as well as 62 organically sound designed hits divided into low booms, impacts as well as low, mid and high hits – all with multiple round robins. All sounds are included as separate, unlocked WAV files as well.
