phantomdevices.org has announced Hexaglyphics, a performance-oriented noise generator for iPad.
Hexaglyphics is a 13-bit noise generator for iPad with an interface based on an original alphabet for hexadecimal values. It can turn gestures into a wide range of noise sweeps, zaps/clicks, squarish oscillations and abstract sounds.
phantomdevices.org is a brand for experimental software instruments and effects.
All the sounds in the video are made from Hexaglyphics, no eq, compression, reverb or saturation. Gentle compression and limiting on the master bus.
Hexaglyphics will be available on the App Store on May 8th for the introductory price of $3.99 USD/3.99 EUR until May 22nd, 2015 (regular $5.99 USD/5.99 EUR).
