Plughugger has announced the release of a new collection of cinematic soundscapes for the Pigments 2 software synthesizer by Arturia.
The core of the sounds of Nanopolarity is based on 250MB of sampled sounds from the Access Virus TI hardware synthesizer, and is aimed for productions of film and TV, as well as contemporary music genres where a simple pad just doesn’t cut it.
With its vast synthesis capabilities, the Virus is the great source to further sculpt the raw samples into completely new sounds. Plughugger used the granular engine as well as the “Shaper Mode” for stacked sounds, resonators and chords.
Apart from pads and soundscapes, Plughugger also added a handful of percussive sounds from the Virus, as the foundation of synthetic-cinematic hits and boomers.
Nanopolarity contains 174 new sounds, including 163 textures/soundscapes and 11 drum/percussion.
The soundset is available for the intro price of 9.90 EUR until July 12th, 2020 (50% off regular). Use coupon code NANOPIGMENTS at the checkout to get the discount.
