Plughugger has returned with a brand new soundset for Arturia’s Pigments software synthesizer. A collection of 186 presets, Club Vice fuses the classic sound of the 80s with the feel of modern pop and EDM.
The soundset started out as an exploration of combining the right filters, effects and compressors, with the internal synth engine to get a retro-futuristic vibe. Plughugger also sampled classic 80s pop sounds from u-he Repro and processed them further with Pigments engine.
Club Vice is a complete soundset containing everything you need for a modern Synthwave production from start to finish. From bass sounds and drums to synths, leads and pads. As well as effects and inspiring arpeggios and sequences. As a fun bonus Plughugger also recorded a handful of vocoder samples, inspired by the works of Giorgio Moroder.
