Plughugger has introduced a new collection of 106 presets for Cherry Audio’s Mercury-6, a meticulous recreation of the Jupiter-6 analog polyphonic synthesizer.
Retrospective is an ’80s pop inspired soundset with a focus on the sound of the The Golden Decade of Electronic Pop, while also being inspired by modern styles such as Synthwave and Retrowave.
Retrospective for Cherry Audio Mercury-6 is a celebration of 1980s, a time that saw the birth of some of the most iconic synthesizers ever made. While Mercury-6 is based on the Roland Jupiter-6, it takes it further by adding the possibility to create complex sounds by layering, a random mode for the arpeggiator and of course a great selection of effects, including a massive reverb and a creamy chorus.
