Positive Grid has announced that its BIAS AMP 2 virtual amp designer plugin is now officially available.
The update comes with increased dynamics, improved touch response, Celestion cabs, two new amp packs, reverbs, new Amp Match and more.
For BIAS AMP 2 we worked with artists, engineers and recording studios to improve the already hyper-authentic touch response of our amplifier circuits, and we added a ton of new features and components to go with the sleek new user interface. The result is a truly new playing experience!
Changes in BIAS AMP 2
- Dynamic Tone Engine – New features and components give BIAS AMP 2 increased dynamics and touch-sensitivity, giving you more power to create your own personal tone than ever before.
- BIAS meets Celestion – Instead of loading a mountain of individual impulse responses to find one you like, just move the mics on our Celestion speaker cabinets around – BIAS AMP 2 does the rest.
- Redesigned Amp Packs – Want chewy tones? The new Blues Pack delivers more dynamics and control. Want killer bass sounds? The new Bass Pack has just what you need and more.
- New Amp Match – Take the guesswork out of tone-building: BIAS AMP 2 and the new Amp Match can automatically generate an amp circuit for you, or even match the tone of a solo’d audio file.
BIAS AMP 2 for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/RTAS/AAX) is available starting at $99 USD. Previous customers of BIAS AMP can login at the Postive Grid site to see their upgrade price.
