Rast Sound has announced the release of Oud String, a sample library featuring the sounds of an authentic Middle Eastern fretless instrument with multiple playable articulations and layers as well as phrases, patterns and effects capturing its deep texture.
The 220MB instrument library includes legato, staccato, fx and phrase play, recorded in detail to create a realistic, expressive playing. Phrases and patterns can be combined with solo playing to create richer performances.
Oud String is available for Kontakt 5.8 or higher (full version), with Wav files included for use in your DAW or other compatible software/hardware.
The sample library is on sale for the introductory price of 24 EUR until June 5th, 2021 (regular 39 EUR).
