Rhythm Electronics has announced the release of a collections of 16 Hip Hop kits for use with the Roland TR-8S Rhythm Performer. The kits of Oldschool Hip Hop Breaks are designed to sound like vintage funk drum breaks used in ’90s Hip Hop.
These kits and patterns were inspired by artists like Guru, Digable Planets, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and many others that used sampled funky drum breaks in their tunes.
All the kits have demo patterns to start banging beats right away. All the kits are based on samples meticulously recorded from acoustic sources. No synths or drum machines were sampled in the making of this kits.
The sound pack is available for purchase for 25 EUR.
