Rigid Audio has announced the release of a new creative drum instrument library for Kontakt which is designed to create all sorts of electronic drum sounds and glitchy, lofi and granular-type drum patterns.
Riva includes 100 factory drumkits and you can create a random drumkits with the press of a single button. All aspects of each of the 5 distinct drum sections can also be randomized individually.
Riva features 635 factory drumsounds spread across five sections (kick, snare, claps, hihat and percussion). These five sections feature four layers each, which can have completely different settings and samples and can be played back in various ways (random, cycle, velocity and stack).
Furthermore, Riva features two onboard reverb units and master effects, like “flair” which creates interesting sounds by using tuned delay tables as well as master compression, drive and tape saturation. Last but not least, you can import your own drumsounds via drag and drop easily.
Available for the full version of Kontakt 6.7.1 or higher, Riva is on sale for the intro price of $10 USD until November 1st, 2023 (regular $15 USD).
