Rigid Audio has announced that its electronic and cinematic trailer scoring instrument is now available to download for free.
Synferno is a loop based Kontakt instrument that comes with 350 preset “kits” that can be played in tandem across 4 categories: Bass, Synth, Ambient and Groove. These kits are built around the included 1300 24-bit WAV loops (unencrypted).
Up to 4 loops per kit can be played simultaneously and polyphonically timestretched within a range of two octaves each. You can also play loops sliced as well. Each loop has its own color-coded range on the keyboard.
Synferno comes with a built-in mixing and effects page, as well as a dedicated sequencer page for “spicing up” the preset kits. If that’s not enough, you can use the randomization feature to generate new kits to play with easily.
Available for the full version of Kontakt version 5.8.1 or higher, Synferno can be downloaded from the Rigid Audio website.
