RJProjects has released version 1.1 of Aqualizer, a sound filter plug-in which is very similar to an equalizer.
Developers Josse van Dobben de Bruyn and Jelle van Mourik write:
We cannot refrain from telling you why we thought the Aqualizer was worth making a website about. It is mainly because we won the first prize at a research-contest at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RUG). Here you can find some information about the contest and a little movie of the day when all the presentations were given. It is in Dutch, though.
Aqualizer is available as a VST effect plug-in for Windows PC. The source code is included in the download and GUI resource files are available as well so perhaps someone will port it to another OS.
