Roland continues its Legendary Series v2 rollout with an update to the JUNO-60 Software Synthesizer, bringing a refined, high-resolution interface, universal patch browsing, Circuit Mod, and all-new sounds.

The Roland JUNO-60 helped define the sound of the ‘80s and is highly prized for its vintage vibe and unmistakable character. Simply put, it’s the sound you hear in your head when you think of fat, punchy analog synthesizers. With the JUNO-60 Software Synthesizer, you get the full authentic experience of this legendary keyboard in a modern software instrument.

Changes in JUNO-60 v2

  • Refined interfaces: The JUNO-60 v2 lets you experience the thrill of this iconic instrument in your own studio, thanks to the newly developed high-resolution interface for modern DAWs and big-screen production environments. With a refined layout and new universal header, users will experience a more seamless interface, all while keeping true to the original design and workflow.
  • Browse and tweak: The JUNO-60 v2 features a shiny new universal browser that lets you search and rate sounds across every installed patch bank, including an all-new bank of fresh tones. With the ability to adjust vital parameters directly from the browser’s integrated Tweak Panel, there’s no need to change views to customize sounds to your liking.
  • Mod shop: Vintage Roland synths like the JUNO-60 had internal trim controls that allowed technicians to tweak various analog components when they drifted out of spec. But sometimes, “out of spec” created a sound that was unique, interesting, or extraordinary. Realized through Roland’s latest ACB advancements, the new Circuit Mod function lets you sweep through multiple trims using a single macro control. Along with the Condition parameter, which simulates the effects of aging, you can dial in everything from a factory-primed instrument to a road-worn synth that hasn’t seen a tech bench in decades.

The JUNO-60 is available as part of Roland Cloud.
