Roland has released an update to its expandable plugin version of the ZEN-Core Synthesis System. Version 2.0 of ZENOLOGY offers several improvements, for an enhanced experience.
ZENOLOGY Pro v2 lets you harness the vast power of the ZEN-Core Synthesis System within your favorite DAW. Explore over 4,000 tones and 200 drums kits that you can easily expand to over 10,000 total selections or create stunning new tones from scratch. With so many sounds to choose from, you need a powerful browser to stay organized. Easily search, rate, save, and recall sounds within ZENOLOGY Pro and keep your inspiration flowing. Plus, explore new banks with everything from classic to experimental and exotic sounds.
The edit view gives you an expansive look at the array of ZEN-Core parameters. Each tone consists of up to four partials, with an oscillator, filter, amplifier, dual LFO, and effects. Add shape and color to your sound with over 90 effects like spacious reverbs and delays, sweeping JUNO-106 and CE-1 choruses, and unique offerings like the SDD-320 Dimension D and DJ FX Looper. You can also dive into the world of Model Expansions to transform ZENOLOGY Pro into entirely different instruments like the JUPITER-8, JUNO-106, SH-101, JX-8P, and JD-800.
ZENOLOGY Pro 2.0 for Windows and Mac (VST3, AU and AAX) is priced $229 USD, and also available as part of a Roland Cloud Pro for $10 USD/month or Ultimate for $20 USD/month.
The standard version comes with Roland Cloud Core membership, and a free ZENOLOGY Lite version is available to anyone with a Roland account.
