An essential treasure trove of authentic drum machine kits and MIDI grooves inspired by the sound of the eighties. Taking stylistic cues from the likes of Depeche Mode, Duran Duran and Human League, 80s Beats takes iconic drum machines and uses classic production techniques to deliver a truly retro beat experience.
Packed with 150+ one-shots from revered 80s modules including the Roland TR-505 and 707, Boss DR 202, Linn Drum LM2, Sequential Circuits Drum Tracks and Oberheim DMX, all hits have been lovingly re-sampled (Akai MPC60 MKII and 2000 Ensoniq Mirage) and processed through our prized outboard signal chain for added analogue warmth and character.
The hits have then been carefully curated into 10 ready-to-rock kits for all major samplers and supplied with 95 distinctive MIDI drum grooves to kick-start your inspiration.
