Sample Magic has launched MIDI Elements: Analogue Drums 2, a MIDI pack featuring a collection of pumping analogue-derived drum tracks.
MIDI Elements returns with a heavyweight drum toolkit for retro analogue inspired house and techno. Packed with modded hits from a host of classic machines including the Roland 707, 808 and 909, Analogue Drums 2 comes packed with 120 hits across 10 custom drum kits and 100 MIDI drum grooves ready to rock straight out of the box.
Inspired by the hard-hitting drum tracks from the likes of Jimmy Edgar, Maxtrixxman and Machinedrum, we’ve fired up some classic and lesser-known drum machines to curate 10 unique custom drum kits loaded with analogue ammunition for techno and house producers.
The kit used to make the pack includes the Roland classics (808/909/707) and lesser-known modules such as the Yamaha RX15, RX21, Roland CR1000 and CR78, Fricke MFB and Casio RZ1. Many hits were additionally processed through the Ensoniq EPS, Casio SK1, ASR10, MPC 60 and 1000 samplers for an even more retro vibe.
