Samples From Mars has introduced a new sample pack featuring an extensive library of beats created with Linn’s LM1 and LM2 drum machines, captured cleanly and through tape, gated reverbs, and compression, to mimic the iconic feel heard on so many records.
The Lin LM1 is an absolute beast of a drum machine, and since it’s quite rare, it can be hard to track down quality samples of it. Luckily, we have two! And after we first created our one-shot pack a few years ago, we quickly notice a lot of songs on the radio pop up with these iconic sounds!
But while the one-shots are super useable, they don’t quite capture the mesmerizing experience of running the LM1 in real time, pumping out impossibly groovy and organic beats. So, we knew what we had to do. We grabbed both of our LM1s, and our LM2, plus some choice outboard gear, and created a super groovy collection of loops showcasing this magic!
On sale for the intro price of $19 USD (regular $29 USD), the Lin Loops pack contains a total of 380 loops, including 148 full beats inspired by classic and modern records, and original drum patterns.
