SampleScience has launched a 24-hour flash sale on its virtual instrument Hexagon Sky, a sample-based plugin inspired by the sound of Boards Of Canada, Com Truise, Lone, and Tycho.
The instrument includes 109 preset sounds, including genuine analog synthesizer tones, acoustic instruments sampled from public domain documentaries (for that grainy sounds), and various pads, strings, and ethereal atmospheres. Also included are sampled guitar, bell, and electric piano sounds.
Each sound has a sub, two field recording layers, and four electronic device noises for that extra lo-fi touch!
