SampleScience has announced the release of a virtual instrument based on a series of damaged singing bowl recordings that have been restored.
The Singing Bowl Renaissance instrument features 20 singing bowl sounds ranging from percussive tones to ambient drones.
A combination of audio engineering techniques has been used to make these singing bowl samples great: spectral repair, adaptative noise removal, and manual retuning. The result is a unique instrument that has a sound of its own.

The instrument is available in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and macOS. It also comes as sample libraries for Kontakt 5 and up (full version) and the free Decent Sampler.
