SampleScience has introduced its latest release Sitar Renaissance, a free plucked sitar instrument made from a damaged recording that has been restored.
A combination of audio engineering techniques has been used to make these sitar samples great: spectral repair, adaptative noise removal, and manual retuning.
The result is a unique instrument that has a sound of its own, is easy to use, and will cut through your mixes.
Sitar Renaissance is available in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and macOS (compatible with M1). It also comes as a sample library for the Decent Sampler and Native Instruments Kontakt.
