Loopmasters has introduced Samplestate’s latest sample pack Pads & Synths, a collection of over 140 loops by James Dexter with a focus on one aspect of his production that he is continually asked about from other producers, his superb pads and synths.
James returns to us after a busy schedule of touring some of the worlds best clubs, including the legendary terrace at DC10 Ibiza for Solid Grooves parties alongside ANOTR, Archie Hamilton, Cassy, Chris Stussy, Dennis Cruz, Micheal Bibi and more, as well as the well respected S.A.S.H in Sydney with Dyed Soundorom & Subb-an. All this whilst maintaining a steady and impressive selection of releases on both vinyl and digital labels such as his own Inermu, Hedzup, Little Helpers, Bondage, Moan, amongst others.
This pack splits into three main sections, the main emphasis being on the separate pads folder and separate synth loops folders but also a third folder of background texture that are massively useful for all kinds of electronic production.
You will find evolving and modulated pads with an exquisite level of detail that lend themselves perfectly to deep and minimal house but could but be easily applied to any form of house and techno production. Synth Loops are also perfectly tailored for tracks in James signature Deep House vibes but again the range and palette of sounds could easily be used across several genres.
