Sir Elliot has released Four Stage Compressor, a free compressor effect plug-in for Windows.
The Four Stage Compressor consists of four compressors sitting in one chassis using the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, & Release controls. The user has the option to select four different compressors by merely selecting Compressor A, B, C, or D and, adjusting to taste.
Please bear in mind, Sir Elliot’s Four Stage Compressor offers a fixed delay in which helps each compressor produce it’s own characteristics in terms of tone.
Four Stage Compressor features
- Attack Time: 0 – 300 milliseconds (LCD display will not show < 1 ms).
- Release Time: 0 – 900 milliseconds (LCD display will not show < 3 ms).
- Ratio: 0 – 16:1.
- Threshold: 0 to –200 dB.
- Compressor: Four-user-select independent compressors sharing the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, & Release controls.
Four Stage Compressor is available to download as a freeware VST effect plug-in.
