SirenFX has announced the launch of a new product line of unique procedural sound design tools.
WindGen and RainGen are two unique synthesizers designed to generate natural ambiances.
Intended for film and game productions, these plugins synthesize natural weather ambiances using no recorded samples. WindGen uses an expressive formant filter to generate wind noises with a lifelike character. Its companion product, RainGen, can generate a wide range of rain textures – from light drizzles to powerful downpours and hail.
Available for Windows and Mac in VST3 and AU formats, the plugins are on sale for the introduction price of £25 GBP each until June 5th, 2022 (regular £40 GBP).
