Softube has announced the release of a Tube-Tech series 3-band opto compressor effect plugin. The Tube-Tech SMC 2B Multiband Compressor is engineered to offer users increased flexibility in handling dynamic processing tasks, mix buses, and various audio elements like vocals, drums, and bass.

The SMC 2B is renowned for its high fidelity and flexibility, and Softube has painstakingly modeled every component and stage to ensure the software faithfully replicates the hardware’s capabilities.

Modern features, including stereo processing options, mid/side processing, parallel compression, and Sidechain input, provide users with greater control and flexibility while preserving the original unit’s sound.
