Sonarworks has announced an update to the SoundID Reference software that calibrates your speakers and studio headphones, so you can trust that every mix will translate.
The 5.2.2 update makes SoundID Reference fully compatible with Windows 11 and macOS 12 operating systems and improves the overall user experience with software performance updates.
SoundID Reference also adds 11 new headphone models to its roster of supported headphones, including the Apple Airpods Pro Max, offering more than 400 compatible headphone profiles. New supported models include:
- Apple Airpods Pro Max.
- Audeze LCD-X (2021).
- Austrian Audio Hi-X25BT.
- Austrian Audio Hi-X15.
- Austrian Audio Hi-X65.
- Behringer BH 470.
- Behringer HC 2000B.

- Beyerdynamic DT 900 PRO X.
- Logitech G733.
- Sennheiser HD 820.
SoundID Reference for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is available for purchase for $99 USD for the Headphones only edition, and $249 USD for the Speakers & Headphones edition. Owners of Reference 4 or Reference 3 can upgrade at discounted prices, and users can also experience the new update with unlimited functionality during a free 21-day trial.
