Sonic Zest has announced the release of its new Kontakt instrument library Quantum Cello, featuring the sounds of a softly played cello. The sample library includes beautiful polyphonic and legato patches, alongside a cello pad.
Also available is Mandolin Blaze, bringing the sound of a mandolin playing octave tremolos across the instrument’s full range.
What you get when you spread this across a keyboard and start playing chords is a rainstorm of tiny acoustic details that weave in and out beautifully. On top of octave tremolos, we’ve also include a normal plucked articulation.
This is perfect for capturing a melancholy, hazy summer vibe for your next soundtrack.
Available from the Sonic Zest website, the sample libraries are priced $16 USD each. They require the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher.
